I've been living in Hong Kong since the first day of 2003, arriving shortly after the New Year set in. Now a permanent resident, my attachment to it grows. I tell myself often that one tends to take everything around at home for granted, and I should try to keep all my senses open, ready to acquire fresh impressions from this city in daily contact with it. Better to think, see and act like a travelling photographer at home and in turn like a local when abroad.
