On Streets around Victoria Terminal, Mumbai, 2009 孟买维多利亚火车站周围

I was in Mumbai for a few days in March 2009 and especially loved the hustles and bustles around the Victoria Terminal. The small winding streets were full of street vendors, selling vegetables, snacks, fruits, spices and flowers and offering all kinds of services. I didn’t see many tourist-looking people around. People were very friendly to me and all were open to my request of picture taking and invited me to try their spices. In the end, I felt that I was doing them a favour by taking their pictures and showing to them on the LCD screen. They would look closely and give a big small. It was a pity that I had only my small Nikon Coolpix with me.
